Privacy Notice

This notice explains how Magyar Print on Demand Egyesület processes personal data submitted through the website for contact requests, membership applications, professional cooperation inquiries or case stories.

2. Purpose of processing

The association processes submitted data only for responding to contact requests, handling membership applications, answering professional inquiries, discussing cooperation opportunities and reviewing creator experiences or case stories.

Submitted experiences and case stories may be used for professional work, educational materials, research summaries or advocacy proposals only in aggregated form that does not identify the person submitting them.

4. Legal basis

The primary legal basis is the data subject's voluntary consent, given by completing the form and accepting this privacy notice. For membership applications, processing is carried out to the extent necessary to assess the application and operate the association according to its statutes.

Newsletters or program updates may be sent only on the basis of separate voluntary consent. Consent may be withdrawn at any time.

5. Data transfer and processors

The association does not sell personal data and does not transfer it for independent marketing or commercial use. Personal data may be disclosed only where required by law or by a binding authority or court request. The association does not use automated decision-making or profiling.

The association may use technical service providers for website hosting, email communication and form processing. These providers may process data only on behalf of the association and only for the purposes described in this notice.

6. Retention period

The association retains data only for as long as necessary to handle the contact request, application, professional inquiry or submitted case story.

Once the inquiry has been closed, the membership procedure has ended, or the purpose of processing no longer exists, the data must be deleted unless a law, a potential legal claim or a lawful operational obligation of the association requires longer retention.

7. Rights of data subjects

Data subjects may exercise the following rights through the association's contact address:

  • request information about and access to their personal data
  • request correction of inaccurate data
  • request deletion of data if there is no longer a lawful reason for processing it
  • request restriction of processing
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
  • object to processing where the legal basis is legitimate interest
  • file a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information
